I understand that Career drift doesn’t happen overnight. It’s usually the result of years spent responding to opportunities, expectations, responsibilities, and change. One day you realise your career has carried you somewhere successful, but perhaps not somewhere you consciously chose. Not everyone arrives at a career crossroads through drift. Sometimes change arrives unexpectedly. Either way, the result can feel surprisingly similar: uncertainty, lost confidence, and a sense that it’s time to pause and reassess.
After more than 25 years in HR and Talent Development, I’ve seen this pattern repeated, in the people I’ve worked with and, at times, in my own career too.
I know how easy it is to lose sight of your own direction while continuing to appear capable, successful, and dependable on the outside.
That’s why I created HBee Coaching.
I help accomplished professionals step back from autopilot, reconnect with what matters now, and make more intentional decisions about what’s next.
Together, we build the self-awareness, clarity, and momentum needed to create career direction by design, not by accident.

You’re used to being the person others turn to. The calm voice. The problem solver. The one who makes things happen.
So when it comes to your own career, asking for support hasn’t felt like a priority. Part of you believes you should be able to work it out on your own.
Your career may still look successful on the surface, yet underneath it all, you’ve drifted away from what feels energising, meaningful, or truly aligned with who you are now.
Or perhaps change wasn’t your choice.
Redundancy, organisational change, a difficult workplace experience, burnout, or a career break may have left you questioning what comes next and wondering how you got here.
Whatever brought you to this point, you find yourself asking questions that feel difficult to answer alone.
Perhaps you’re thinking:
- I know I’m capable of more, but I’m not sure what “more” actually looks like anymore.
- I’ve spent years meeting expectations. What do I want next?
- I work hard and deliver results, so why do I still feel overlooked or undervalued?
- I know I bring real value, but I find it difficult to articulate my impact and strengths.
- Should I stay where I am, look for something new, or create a different path altogether?
- How do I make a career decision that feels intentional rather than reactive?
That’s where I can help.

The Power of Lumina Spark
At the heart of much of my coaching is Lumina Spark, a powerful psychometric tool that helps you better understand who you are, how you work best, and what genuinely energises you.
Far more than a personality profile, Lumina Spark creates deeper self-awareness around your strengths, motivations, communication style, and the patterns that may be shaping your career decisions without you even realising it.
For many clients, it becomes the turning point that helps things finally make sense, creating the clarity, confidence, and language needed to move forward more intentionally.
“What made the biggest difference was the safe space you created. Supportive but also gently challenging. It allowed me to explore what was really getting in the way and to practise new approaches that felt authentic to me” – Rachael
